3700-04 JESSICA MICHNA PRESENTS “LIFE OF
ELEANOR ROOSEVELT: THE FIRST LADY OF THE
WORLD”
As one who said "the future belongs to those who believe in
the beauty of their dreams," Jessica Michna will interpret the
life of Eleanor Roosevelt, "first lady of the world." In
addition to the information about family life, we can expect
to learn about Eleanor's efforts as a worldwide ambassador
and lifelong advocate of social, political, and economic
justice for all.
Originally from Pennsylvania, Jessica Michna developed a
love of American History at an early age, visiting the many
Revolutionary and Civil War sites in the area. Her love of
both history and the theater was encouraged by an older
brother. During her high school years she appeared in
various productions and designed and constructed
costumes. She was offered a scholarship to the Goodman
School of Theater in Chicago. Jessica's theatrical aspirations 3706-05 AUGUST 27: SAIL AWAY NORWAY’S
